Jesus Cares is a volunteer interdenominational Christian Charitable organisation. Our volunteers and supporters come from a range of backgrounds across the whole body of Christ with a common heart to bring the love of God to the poor, the homeless, the needy and the vulnerable.

Volunteers connect with Jesus Cares because they are given the opportunity to use their ministry gifts. We provide training for our volunteers and meet socially at other times. The fellowship we share is special. We have volunteers who have been with us for many years and also attract a constant stream of new volunteers.

We operate in three, areas; the Inner City ,Western Sydney (Lalor Park area) and South Western Sydney:

Night van ministry

7:45 pm - Martin Pl, Phillip St, CBD

9 pm - Belmore Park, Eddy Ave.

Van Ministry Volunteers meet at the Ministry Centre for food preparation, fellowship, praise and worship, then travel to the CBD to serve food, drinks and minister the love and truth of God.

Meet at 5.30 pm every Friday and Saturday night. (Denistone)

Our ministry base is located within a short walk from Denistone Station.

For many living on the street, a hot breakfast is a luxury, that's why breakfast is so popular with the homeless community.

Lakemba Ministry
